Wynema Barber

Funeral services for Mrs. Wynema Barber, 82, of Gilmer will be 10:00 A.M, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Dale Hendricks and James Winniford officiating Private burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. Barber passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Longview. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 4, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barber was born on October 17, 1931, to James Claudie and Vesta Ellison Glasco in Pittsburg, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of East Mountain Church of Christ.

Mrs. Barber is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Weldon and Rhonda Barber of White Oak, James and Darlene Barber of Gilmer; sister, Kathy Walters of Houston; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Wayland Barber, and 2 sisters.

Pallbearers are Jeff Baird, Chase Carpenter, Walter Huffman, Nat Harrison, Thomas Grigsby and Richard Yazell.
