Willilam Lee Fisher

Funeral services for William "Bill" Fisher, 70, of Tyler will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday March 7, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. John Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. He was born on August 30, 1943, in Gladewater to Loral Lee and Bessie Mackey Fisher and passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2013 in Tyler. Mr. Fisher served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from ACU and Houston School of Law and was in private practice; Mr. Fisher also served as a lobbyist and CPA . He loved to play his guitar in his leisure time. Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Jane Fisher of Tyler; son, Chris Franklin of Quincy, MA; daughters and sons-in-law, Stacie and Brian Cargill of Richardson, Sheri and Tim Seckel of Fort Worth; brother, Ray Fisher of Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and previous wife of 33 years, Gloria Fisher. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014, from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home.
