Willie Mae Butler

(Willow) Willie Mae Butler, age 97, of Gilmer passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 in Longview, TX. She was born in Clark County, Arkansas, on August 19, 1921, to the late Steven and Ether (Francis) Rowe. Mrs. Butler was a house wife and of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Butler is survived by her daughter, Virginia A. King and her husband, Tom of Gilmer; sister, Ruby Dickens of Houston; grandchildren, Janice A. McCormick, Treasa K. Kelly, Tommy M. King II; great grandchildren, Amber Crisman and her husband, Chris, Emerald Webster and her husband, Justin, Joshua McFerrin, Brian Embody and Amanda, Nicholas Embody; nine great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Butler; parents; sisters; Dorothy Hines, Lonie Rowe; brothers, Arthur, Dank, Nuke, and R.L. Rowe; grandson-in-law, Billy Kelly; great grandchild, Keegan Raine King; and great great grandchild, Breck Henry Ehnis.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer, TX with Bro. Tom King officiating, interment will be held at Bullard Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM prior to the service on Saturday.
