William Thomas Tillery

GILMER- Funeral services for William "Tom" Tillery, 81, of the Brumley Community will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating. Interment will follow at Simpsonville Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Dickey Mauk officiating. Mr. Tillery was born on December 17, 1934 in Wolfe City, Texas to Jesse Carl and Cleta Drum Tillery. He married Neva Lou Steele on August 8, 1952. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and loved NASCAR. Mr. Tillery was also a member of Brumley Baptist Church. Mr. Tillery is survived by his son, Kyle Tillery and wife, Susie of Lee"s Summit, Missouri; daughters, Sheila Fragstein and husband, Sig of Orange, Texas, Sandy Everett of Dallas; brother, Jerry Tillery of Greenville; grandchildren, Neva Russell and husband, Dawson, Jessica Brown, Chloe Howard and husband, Kenny, Savannah Tillery, Ethan Tillery, Madison Tillery; great-grandchildren, Samiah Brown and Sophie Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Cleta Tillery, and his wife of 58 years, Neva Lou Steele Tillery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
