William "Porky" Emerson

Memorial services for William "Porky" Emerson, 64, of Mineola will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Emerson passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Emerson was born August 10, 1949 in Sulphur Springs. He was a retired truck driver for Ruan Transportation in Tyler. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Emerson of Mineola; son, Coby Jones of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; daughters, Misty Hortman of Mineola and Nicole Compton of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters, Ruth Hill of Bakersfield, California and Pauline Moppin of Tracy, California; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Everyone is welcome to attend the memorial service.
