William Glen "Billy" Youngblood

William Glen “Billy” Youngblood, 47, of Gladewater, Texas joined his Heavenly Father on November 18, 2018, in Gladewater, Texas.

Billy was born on February 6, 1971 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Glen Royce and Heidi Heidelberg Youngblood.

Billy began his career at Union Pacific Railroad in 2002 and was most recently employed by Legend Energy Services as a Safety Representative. His dedication to the well-being of his colleagues and co-workers earned him the reputation of being a man of honor and integrity. Billy was highly respected and considered a tremendous asset by the organizations and companies for which he served. Billy enjoyed the outdoors and competitive sports. Hunting was his greatest passion. He will be lovingly remembered by friends and family for his adventurous spirit and his passionate love of life. Billy devoted much of his time and energy to the generous care of his wife, children, family and friends. The loss of his kindness, enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humor will leave a void in the hearts and lives of those he touched. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nikki. Billy and Nikki enjoyed life and love together for 7 years. He is also survived by his 6 children, Stormi, Sunni, Emily, Makenna Evans, Lane and Gracie. Billy is survived by his mother, Heidi Youngblood and sister Destiny Youngblood Kelly, both of Gladewater, Texas, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Billy is preceded in death by his father Glen Royce Youngblood, grandfathers Glen Youngblood and Esker Heidelberg, grandmothers Alma Youngblood Childs and Betty Heidelberg and niece, Cherish Kelly.

Sam Comer, Justin English, Lance Kelly, Andrew Kufahl, Chris Manning, Kelly Martin, Haskell “Hack” Newman, Shane Palmer, Matt Richardson and Nathan Venable will serve as pallbearers.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 6pm-8pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, 401 North Center Street.

Services will be at 2:00 pm, November 21, 2018 at the chapel of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, 401 North Center Street, with Kevin Haygood officiating. Graveside services will be held at Glade Creek Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas, 2411 Locust Road.

All friends and family are invited to attend the services.
