William Dale Clark
William Dale Clark, 77 of Diana, passed away on December 27, 2023, in Longview, TX.
Dale Clark was born on July 10, 1946 in Odessa, TX, to William Wilson Clark and Ernestine Thomas Clark.
Dale graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1964. He married Peggy Mosier Clark on January 29, 1965 at Lone Star Church of Christ. The couple had one son, Adam Vincent Clark.
After High School, Dale worked for Red Ball Motor Freight company before joining and serving in the U. S. Army for six and a half years. During the Vietnam War he completed two tours of service. Upon his return, Dale went on to work for Lone Star Steel, where he worked for 13 years. Before his retirement, Dale worked for Alcoa for 23 years.
Dale was best known for playing video games with his sister Jean Carnes. He was an avid computer enthusiast and loved anything science fiction. Dale also loved and adored his dogs.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Peggy Clark of Diana, as well as Buddy and Tasso, his true and faithful dogs. Dale is also survived by his two sisters; Jean Carnes of Longview and Peggy King and husband Hank of Borene and his brother-in-law Earl Ray Mosier and wife Mehrzad of New Hampshire. Also left to cherish Dale's memory are his two special nephews Skipper Carnes (Veronica) of Longview and Michael Carnes (Tami) of Hallsville. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents William and Ernestine Clark, son, Adam Vincent Clark and brother-in-law Ray Carnes.
Services for William Dale Clark will be held on Friday December 29, 2023 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Diana, Texas.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
