William "Bill" Davis Pritchett

A Mass of Christian Burial for William “Bill” Davis Pritchett, 97 of Holly Lake Ranch will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hawkins with Rev. Jesudoss Thomas officiating and other priest . Interment at a later date, to be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Bill passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at his home.
Bill was born August 29, 1920 in Austin, Texas to the late William and Helen Francis Davis Pritchett. After graduating from high school, Bill served honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married the former Betty Jane Rice on July 29, 1950. Bill owned and operated, Aquashade Marine Products in Dallas for many years, with his wife Betty, before they retired to Holly Lake Ranch. Bill enjoyed spending time on the water, boating and water skiing, but his true passion was aeronautics, he loved piloting his own aircraft, and maintaining them at his personal hanger. Bill was a faithful and active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Holly Lake Ranch, and the Knights of Columbus. Bill and Betty loved to work crossword puzzles every morning, and Bill loved watching Longhorn Football.
Bill is survived by his sister, Betty Nell Lowe of Huntsville, TX; seven nieces and nephews, Deborah K. Erdmann, John William Lowe, Danny Vic Pritchett, Lana Sue Pritchett, Sharon Lee Pritchett, Donna Thornton, and Michael Thornton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Pritchett in 2017; brothers, John “J.D.” Pritchett, Victor Pritchett; and sister, Mary Helen Pritchett.
