Welta Ruth Lott

Welta Lott, 70, of White Oak, Texas passed away on Thursday April 14, 2022. Welta was born in Gilmer, Texas to Johnnie and Mary Medlin. Welta and Glenn got married on February 7, 1969.

Welta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her family. She kept busy with things she loved like baking, doing yard work, tending her flowers, casino trips, and playing bingo. Welta worked at and later owned the Circle W Cafe in White Oak for many years; where she enjoyed feeding her community and creating lifelong friendships.

Welta is survived by her husband, Glenn Lott; daughters, Stacy Smith and husband Lee, Brandi Martin and husband Richard; grandchildren, Ashleigh Armstrong and husband Tye, Cody Smith and wife Sonya, Bailey Rhodenbaugh, Miley Starkey, Mark Martin and Kayla Gibson; great-grandchildren, Tucker Armstrong, Rayden Armstrong, Ember Gibson and Briar Gibson; brother, Johnnie Medlin and wife Diane; sisters, Wanda Gibson and husband Keith, Elaine Shofner and husband Rusty, Charlene Pullen and husband Peyton.

Welta is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Mary Medlin; her grandson Dillion Rhodenbaugh; and her sisters, Carlene Fenton and Virginia King and husband Ernest.
