GILMER �Services for Wayne Davis, 74, of Gilmer will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Gilmer, with Reverend Kenneth Montgomery, Reverend Pat Shannon and Reverend Charles Schoon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery. He passed away August 19, 2012 in Gilmer. Wayne was born May 20, 1938 in Gilmer, Texas to Oliver Martin and Grace Elizabeth Davis. He was a barber for 50 years and a deacon in the Baptist church for 30 years. Wayne is survived by his wife: Patsy Davis, son: Michael Davis, sister: Leneave Wootten, & grandchildren: Landon & Nathan Davis The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, 6 to 8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
