Waylon Floyd Brown

Graveside services for Waylon Floyd Brown, 75, of Longview will be held 11:00 A.M, Friday, July 22, 2011, at Bethlehem Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Bro. Gene Ferrell officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Brown passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Longview. He was born on February, 8, 1936, in Gilmer to William Floyd and Exa Rash Brown. Mr. Brown served in the U. S. Army, was a cabinet maker and a caretaker to people. He is survived by his son, Leon Brown of Longview; daughters, Bridgett and Debbie Brown of Longview; sisters, Ludie Henson of Gilmer, Geraldine Johnson of Texas City, Ruenell Lansford of Longview, Bernice Grummert of Seward, NE and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, from 9:30 A.M until 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
