Wanda Ruth Wakefield

Ms. Wanda Ruth Revill Wakefield, age 69, of Big Sandy, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at UT Health Center in Tyler. Wanda was born in Gladewater on July 16, 1950 to the late Aron Revill and Addie Hobbs Revill. Wanda attended Tyler Junior College and completed her Associates Degree at Tarrant County Junior College. She worked as a manager of Modern Woman in Tyler, and as an Enrollment Specialist of CVS/Caremark in the DFW Metroplex before retiring to Big Sandy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Big Sandy. Wanda was an avid reader, and hard worker, who loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Annie Revill.
She is survived by brothers, Charles Revill and wife Shirley of Hawkins, Jim Revill and wife Susan of Corsicana; sister, Shirley Falzone and husband Vincent of Keller; her beloved nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and special friends and neighbors, Wayne and Karen Weese, Steve and Mylinda Wynn.
In accordance with Wanda’s wishes and due to the continued concern about COVID-19, we will not hold a memorial service at this time. The family asks that you honor Wanda by contributing to your favorite cause, extend a hand to those in need, or say a prayer in Wanda’s name.
