Graveside services for Wanda Ruth Strength Owens McCoy, 88, of Holly Lake Ranch will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the Holly Tree Cemetery in Holly Lake Ranch with Bro. Neil Burton officiating. Interment will be in the Holly Tree Cemetery in Holly Lake Ranch. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. McCoy passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Mineola. Mrs. McCoy was born on September 21, 1926, in Italy, TX to Buford and Velma Mae Cooper Strength. She was a retired streamstress, housewife and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her husband, James McCoy; sons, David Owens and Jerry Owens; sister, Quiva Hayes; grandchildren, Nicolette Owens-Sandling; Tiffany Owens, Jay Owens, T.J. Owens, Chris Brown, Adam Brown and Ashley Steiffer; great-grandchildren, Charles Sandling, Hannah Sandling, Rayelee Sandling, Easton Owens, Colten Owens, Chay Brown and Kenna Brown; numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 19 years, Thomas Alton Owens; son, Billy Alton Owens; parents, Buford and Velma Mae Strength; brothers, Bobby Strength and Billy Strength; sister, Theta White; grandsons, Joshua Owens and Jeffery Owens. Pallbearers will be Jay Owens, T.J. Owens, Chris Brown, Adam Brown, Terry Beasley and Tim Beasley. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home " Hawkins.
