Wanda J. Donaldson DIANA: A memorial service to celebrate the life of Wanda "Moma D" Donaldson, 70, of Longview, Texas will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Forest Hill Baptist Church off FM 2879, Longview, Texas with Brother Roy McGrede officiating. Wanda passed away peacefully on October 18, 2015, at her home with her beloved husband and family by her side. Born November 4th, 1944 in Longview, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Joyce Allen. Wanda graduated from Longview High School and continued to live in Longview. She was preceded in death by her son Barry Tew and great grandson Brantley Bayne-Johnson. Survivors include her husband, Buster Donaldson of Longview; her children, Karin Bayne and spouse Becky Tennery of Marshall, Texas; Gary Allen and wife Carla Allen of Hallsville, TX; Shannon Comer and husband Sam Comer of Diana, Texas and Scott Donaldson of North Carolina. Grand Children, Nathan Allen, Taylor Bayne, Briley Comer, Hailey Allen, Natalie Allen, Brynna Comer, Whitney Goolsbee and Crystal Donaldson. Wanda was blessed with many talents. Some of which included oil painting, floral design, and crafts of all kinds. She spent much of her time at the beach in Gilchrist, Texas with her husband and many friends she came to know and love. Fishing was one of her favorite hobbies. She always said, �The Beach Is My Happy Place�. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jimmy and Diane Allen for all the love and support shown to Wanda and Buster during this time. At her request, there will not be a graveside service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
