Cremation arrangements for Virginia Moore Slone, 73, of Gilmer are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Slone passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Virginia Moore Slone, a lifelong resident of Gilmer, TX was born in Camden, AR to the late Colin and Lula Moore and she attended Latch Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband; Clarence Slone, parents, and brother; William Moore.

She is survived by her sister; Charlotte Honeycutt, nieces; Karen Bunn of Gilmer, Leann McAteer of Longview, Suzanne Kornagay of Indiana, nephews; Gene Bunn of Gilmer, Ronnie and Larry McAteer of Longview, sisters-in-law; Jamie Moore, Louise Cavness and brother-in-law; Gene Cavness, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A service for Mrs. Virginia Slone will be at a later date.
