Virginia Nell Dobbins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Nell Dobbins, who drew her last breath on July 2, 2024. She was born in East Mountain, Texas on September 8, 1929, to the loving parents Ed and May Boyd. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived life to the fullest embracing her love for music, shopping, movie nights, and collecting Lee Middleton Dolls.

In her vibrant life, Virginia adored attending concerts, exploring new destinations, and laughing at comedy films. She was a gem, a dear soul cherished by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Virginia leaves behind her legacy with her son, John Mark Dobbins and his spouse Lela, her daughters Cheryl Williams and Sherry Walker. Additionally, her memory will be cherished by her beloved grandchildren Melissa Boles Pope and Rebecca Williams, along with great-grandchildren Tyler Wilbanks, Ash Williams, Michael Noble, Daniel Pope, and Zachary Pope. Let's not forget her great-great-grandchildren Riley Pope, Avery Pope, and Kaley Pope.

A graveside service will be held at 1 in the afternoon, Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Gladewater Memorial Park in Gladewater, Texas. Let us come together to honor the memories we shared with this remarkable woman, whose light will forever shine in our hearts.Rest in peace, Virginia Nell Dobbins.
