Vickey Bell Caton

Mrs. Vickey Bell Caton, age 60, of Gladewater, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at a Tyler hospital. Vickey was born in Gladewater on June 23, 1958 to the late Lawrence Ross Bell and Mary Imogene LaFerney Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Gladewater. Vickey married Michael Lee Caton on July 14, 1978 in Gladewater. She enjoyed grocery shopping, and cooking meals with love for her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was raising and caring for children, she dedicated her heart and spirit to raising her children, grandchildren, and countless other children in Gladewater who were blessed by her love and nurturing heart. She was affectionately known as “Momma” or “Granny” to everyone in her life. Her memory will be forever cherished and loved by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Michael ”Mike” Lee Caton of Gladewater; daughters, Jennifer Medina and husband “Friend” of Gladewater, Mary Pickett and husband Rodney of Gladewater, Amanda Caton-King of Gladewater, Brandy Randolph and husband Shawn of Balch Springs; brother, Randy Bell of Gilmer; grandchildren, Deondre Crain, Justin Hartsock, Chloe’ Medina, Mia Medina, Kaila King, Taylor pickett, Jazlyn Jones, J’La Tennyson, Gabriella Tennyson, Gracelee Pickett, Serenity Randolph, nine bonus grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, “Fancy”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jonathan Jamile King, Jr.; brother, Dennis Bell, Sr.; son-in-law, Jonathan King, Sr.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Graveside services will follow on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater, with Bro. Dean Simmons, and Bro. Phillip Phelps officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Vickey's Grandsons.
