Vera S. Lewis

Mrs. Vera S. Lewis, 92, of Ore City, TX passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Ore City, TX. She was born on March 22, 1919 in Oreana, Illinois and was a teacher in Illinois and Texas before her retirement. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her son, Thomas Lewis of Ore City; daughters, Sally Turner of Emory and Sue Dean of Jemez Springs, NM; sister, Jean Goretzke of Illinois; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
