Velma Sue Youngblood Gipson

Graveside services for Velma Sue Youngblood Gipson, 58, of Gladewater will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Reverend John McGee officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Gipson passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Longview. She was born on June 27, 1956, in Gilmer to H. D. Youngblood and Velma Holcomb Youngblood. Mrs. Gipson was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Gilmer. She is survived by her son, James Miller of Gladewater; daughters, Mandy Geers and husband, Bala of Diana and Malorie Gipson of Gladewater; brothers, Thomas Youngblood, Jimmy Youngblood and wife, Donna, Kenneth Youngblood and H. D. Youngblood all of Gilmer; grandchildren, Trenton, Reanna and Braxton Geers, Kaylynn and Sunnee Miller, McKenzi Dorsey, Bentley and Brantley Blalock. Mrs. Gipson was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Foy Gene Youngblood and Steve Youngblood. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
