Vada Vallarea Sharp

Services for Vada Vallarea Sharp, 96, of Gladewater will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Croley in Gladewater with Reverend M.D. McGuire officiating. Interment will follow the services at Gladewater Memorial Park. Mrs. Sharp passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, in Gilmer.

Mrs. Sharp was born February 22, 1922 to the late Vernie Lee Scott and Nola Miller Scott. Vada was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Sharp was a longtime faithful member of the Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church in Gladewater. She will be dearly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.

Vada is survived by two children Gwendolyn Rutherford of Fort Worth and Michael Sharp of Gilmer; two sisters Vernell Eubanks of Amarillo and Imagene McCord of Boerne; three grandchildren Chris Sharp, Stacia Pyeatt and Rusty Sharp; four great grandchildren Christopher Sharp, Carly Sharp, Noah Sharp and Adler Ward as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Vernie Lee Scott and Nolia Miller Scott; husband E.S. Bill Sharp; a sister Lorene Pitts and a brother Miller Scott

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
