Troy Lee Metcalf

Troy Lee Metcalf, 66, of Gilmer passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Gilmer. He was born on January 25, 1948, in Gilmer to Nine Metcalf and Callie Kelly Davis Metcalf. Mr. Metcalf was a Baptist and lived in Gilmer all his life. He was a dry wall contractor for Rusty Hooser. Mr. Metcalf is survived by his sons, Spike Metcalf and Rusty Hooser; daughters, Sheri Metcalf, Sally Mercer, Lynn Hooser, Nancy Bautista and Terry Bennett; brother Ricky Metcalf; sisters, Terry Chandler, Marie Lucas, Sue Hill, and Linda Threadgill; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Bo Metcalf; brother, Johnny Metcalf. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
