Troy L. Johnson Jr.

Troy L. Johnson Jr., 67, of Gladewater, Texas passed away on March 6, 2022 in Longview, Texas. Troy was born on March 13, 1954 in Gilmer, Texas to Troy Sr. and Barbara Johnson.

Troy was a devoted family man that would do anything for his family. Troy was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy. He was hardworking, since his early teens. A lot of time spending long days and nights as an operator on the pipeline to provide for his family. Troy liked to go fishing, watching his only son Michael play pee wee, elementary and junior high school football. He had pride in what he did and loved his family with all his heart; that could and can still be seen in the work done in and around his homes. Troy enjoyed visiting with others and telling stories filled with love and laughter, along with keeping up with Fox News and watching movies, especially westerns featuring John Wayne.

Troy is survived by his only son, Michael Johnson and wife Stefani; mother, Barbara Baker; sisters, Ann Johnson and Ginger Bureuheide; brother, Robert Johnson; granddaughter Mackinzie Nicole Johnson and multiple loving nieces, nephews.
Troy is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sherrie Johnson; his father, Troy L Johnson Sr.; his brother, James Johnson and sister Martha Sue Dunn.

Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. There will be a visitation service on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 4 to 6 in the evening. Burial will be in Odessa, Texas, date and time to be determined.
