Tony Lee Whitlock

Services for Tony Whitlock, of Diana, TX will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Ore City Church of Christ, with Brother Johnny Coleman officiating. Family visitation 1:00 pm to 1:55 pm. Food and fellowship to follow service at New Diana ISD Cafeteria. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. He passed away on May 15, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Tony was born May 10, 1954 in Big Sandy, Texas to Frank and Lizzie (Hansen) Whitlock. He was a truck driver for 42 years. He was most known for his quick wit, his larger than life personality, his jokes and for two stepping his devoted wife around the dance floor. Tony adored his wife, kids, and grandkids, they were his world.

Tony is survived by his wife of 35 years: LuAnne Whitlock, daughters; Toni Jo Druschke and husband Dewayne, Claire Turner and husband Trey and Amy Whitlock, father-in-law: James Orms, siblings; Alton and Juanita Whitlock, Elizabeth and Richard McClendon, Lonnie and Shelia Whitlock, Mae Brown, Billy and Barbara Whitlock, brother in laws; Terry Orms and wife Tammy, Clint Orms and wife Louann, Rick Orms and wife Sheila, grandchildren, Montana, Colt, Andrew, Jamie, Aubrey, Rylee, Dixie, Peyton and Lincoln, countless cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lizzie Whitlock, mother-in-law Linda Orms, siblings; Coleman Whitlock, Halley Don Whitlock, William Whitlock, Elmer Whitlock and Nellie Jean Snider.
