Tommy Green

Memorial service for Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Scott Green 59, of Gilmer, Texas will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Bro. Phillip Bryant officiating. Mr. Green passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Tommy was born June 27, 1961 in Gladewater, Texas to Scott and Mary Ellen Green. He married Karen Castleman on February 14 and they were married for 29 years. He was a self-employed dairy farmer, enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching and racing cars, as well as tending to his garden and canning. He was a devoted father that loved his family unconditionally.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Green; mother, Flo Green; son, Thomas Green, Jr. and wife Caitlin; daughters, Jennifer Hendry and husband, Daniel and Stephanie Roadcap and husband, Keith; brother, Pat Green and wife, Janice; sister, Carol Moncada and husband, Alfonso; grandchildren, Olivia Green, Hazel Green, Keith Roadcap, Jr., Lucas Roadcap, Wesley Youngman, William Youngman and Christian Roadcap; mother-in-law, Charlotte Castleman; brothers-in-law, Andy Castleman and wife, Brenda and Steve Castleman; sister-in-law, Debbie Irvin and husband, Clay; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Scott Green; brother, James William Scott Green, Jr.; and biological mother, Mary Ellen Green.
