Tom Lacy Morris

Funeral services for Tom Lacy Morris, 87 of Gilmer will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Ray Thompson officiating , interment to follow at Grice Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Friday at Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Morris passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in Gilmer.
Tom was born December 11, 1930 in Grice to the late Comer and Mae (Dacus) Morris. He married the love of his life, Addie Rene Morris who passed away July 16, 2017. Mr. Morris was a local business owner of Lacy’s TV in Gilmer. Tom was an avid reader and also loved country and western music. He was an amateur radio operator and is also of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Morris is survived by his son, Alan Morris and wife Dianne of McKinney; sisters; Norma Lyle, Allyne Poole, Faye Morris all of Gilmer; grandchildren, Stephen Morris and wife Patricia, Cynthia Morris; and great grandchildren, Jordan Thurman, Nicole and Natalia Morris.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and daughter, Judy Morris.
