Tom Dan Gidden

Services for Tom Dan Gidden, 66, of Longview, will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 2 P.M., at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Guy Selman officiating. Burial will be in Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Born on August 11, 1946, in Gladewater, Texas, he died on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a retired fireman from the Longview Fire Department. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Gidden of Longview, and one grandson, Maxwell Dan Gidden of Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn and Velma Gidden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
