Graveside services will be held for Tiffany Denise Files, 35, at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Pine Mills, Texas on October 24, 2018. Brother Michael D. McGuire will be officiating. Memorial services will be held at Limbaugh Funeral Home in Portland, Texas on November 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Tiffany passed away on October 13, 2018 in Portland.
Tiffany Denise Files was born to Terry Lewis and Deba Ann (Rice) Files of Portland in Longview, Texas on August 10, 1983. She held a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. While at UTSA, she was a research intern for a program with the US Navy. She was employed by Nueces County for Mental Health & Intellectual Disabilities as a Continuity of Care Case Manager. She was very proud of the work she did and was pleased to see her cases go to living more productive lives. She was a member of Church Unlimited in Corpus Christi, TX.
Left behind to cherish Tiffany’s memory are her 3-year-old daughter, Sophia McKenzie Guzman of Portland; parents Terry and Deba Files of Portland; twin brother Terry Shane Files of Portland; brother Daniel Bradley Files with wife Shawntay and nephew Robin Grayson Files, Aurora, CO. Also, her grandparents Patricia (Rice) Pinchera and husband Jay Pinchera, Oil City, LA; Betty Files, Gladewater, TX; as well as aunt Tanya and husband Jerry Dinkins, Ore City, TX; aunt Valerie and husband Ray Manley, Gladewater, TX; uncle Mike Files and wife Barbara, Rockaway Beach, MO; along with numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless friends from all walks of life.
Tiffany had lived in Portland for the majority of her life since age 11. She proudly worked through Portland High School and college while employed by McDonalds in Portland, San Antonio, and Boerne. With her family, she experienced seeing numerous historical portions of the USA, including Gettysburg, Little Bighorn National Monument, the Grand Canyon, and the Puget Sound, to mention a few; but even with that, she was taken far too soon and accomplished less than was possible in the years to come. Her pride and joy was her beautiful mini-me, Sophia, and she loved her more than words can express.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rayborn Luther Rice, her paternal grandfather Robert Lee Files and aunt Rhonda Lee Walker.
