Thomas Louis Hair

Funeral services for Thomas Louis Hair, 75, of Longview will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Spring Hill with Bro Gaylon Harrington and Bro. Don Nichols officiating. Interment will be in the Gilmer City Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Hair passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011, at a Longview hospital. Mr. Hair was born January 25, 1936, in Gilmer, Texas to Roy L. and Ura Estelle Castloo Hair. He was a retired machinist, active in the Boy Scouts for 65 years, active in the Order of the Arrow and also achieved in the Eagle Scout ranking and a very active member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Hair married Betty Sue Beisch in 1955 at New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Upshur County. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Beisch Hair of Longview; daughters, Cathy Sue Reeves and husband Bill of Spring Hill, Brenda Louise Edney of Spring Hill, Thomasa "Mesa" King and fiance" Mike Qualls of Jacksonville, Florida and Patti Nichols and husband Don of Diana; brother, Grady Elwin Jones and wife Ilene; sister Rosa Mae Gray; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren, Amanda Edney Moore, Thomas King, Sheri King Wallace, USMC Lance Cpl Ryan Nichols and Travis Nichols; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Moore, Allen Thomas King and Brenna Marie Wallace. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
