Thomas Lee Mumford

Memorial graveside service for Mr. Thomas Lee Mumford, 72, of Gladewater, will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Kelsey Cemetery. Mr. Mumford left his earthly home on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

Thomas was born June 13, 1949, in Gregg County to Andrew Joseph and Mary Frances Dalton Mumford. He worked for Powell Construction and Lee Mechanical Contractors as a heavy equipment operator. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Misty Barnard and husband, Scott; brother, William “Buddy” Mumford of Harleton; sisters, Mary Murphy of Gilmer and JoAnna Rohus and husband, Gerald of Ore City; grandchildren, Austin Mumford, Sheldon Tibbets, Emilie Mumford, Ashlynn Mobley, Braydon Barnard, Haydon Barnard, and Andrew Walker Mumford; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Andrew Jason Mumford; and brother, Joe Dalton Mumford.
