Thomas Edward Haney

Memorial Service for Thomas Edward Haney, 72, of Hawkins will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Haney passed Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Tyler. Mr. Haney was born January 1, 1942, in Union, South Carolina to James Thomas and Elizabeth Ruth Lawson Haney. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, retired electrician with Lebus Manufacturing, had lived in Hawkins for 36 years and was a member of the Whispering Pines Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Haney is survived by his wife, Barbara Haney of Hawkins; son, Robert Edward Haney and wife, Wende of Hawkins; daughter, Lysa McLaren and husband, Roger of Rockwell; sister, Linda Weaver of Union, South Carolina; aunts, Mallie Smith of West Springs, South Carolina and Hilda Osborne of Union, South Carolina; grandchildren, Morgan Coplan, Denver Coplan, Logan McLaren, Lauren Haney, Megan Haney and Madison Haney; great-grandchild, Lilly Copland. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Elizabeth Haney. No formal visitation is scheduled.
