It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thelma "Sissie" Bible, who was born on August 2, 1977, in Longview, Texas. A cherished wife, daughter, and a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Sissie touched the lives of all who knew her with her kind and generous spirit. She will always be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her faith in God.
Sissie's warm and welcoming nature meant that she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her passion for volunteering at Hannah House and her love for all forms of artistic expression brought joy and inspiration to those around her. Whether she was enjoying reading her bible or planning elaborate events, Sissie's vibrant personality shone through, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
Sissie is survived by her beloved husband, Clifford Bible; son, Austin Bible and wife Haley; daughters, Lizzie Wright and husband Grayson and Emily Bible; mother, Carolyn Baird; grandchildren, Remington, Cash, Heidi, Liza, Layla and Ida Lou; siblings; Lee Baird and wife Kandie, Bobby Baird, Maleisha Ramirez and husband Jose, Kristina Hancock and husband Jessie, Kayla Baird, Heather Wheeler and husband Justin, Summer Baird, Christian Baird, Jace Baird, Lynnquaveous Baird, Clayton Plunkett, Emmanuel Baird, Ora Plunkett, Kashara Martinez and Sara Murray and husband Cary as well as many other loving family and friends.
Sissie is preceded in death by her father, Donald Baird Sr.; grandfather, Harold "Paw Paw Blue" Baird and sister Tamara Baird.
In honor of Sissie's life and legacy, a visitation will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024 from 6 to 8 in the evening at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas with a burial to follow to celebrate her remarkable spirit and the love she shared with all who knew her. As we gather to pay our respects and share our memories of Sissie, let us find comfort in the knowledge that her kindness and compassion will continue to live on in our hearts forevermore. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
