Terry Randall Davis

Terry Randall Davis, 62, of Gilmer, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, in Tyler. Funeral services for Terry will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Hopewell United Methodist Church with Bro. Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will follow services at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Terry was born February 16, 1960 in Gilmer to Obie Keith Davis and Clara Nell Steelman. He worked for Plains All America Pipeline as a Pipe Gauger for 39 years. Terry attended Harmony schools and was a member of the Class of 78. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and riding four wheelers and his tractor. Terry was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, son and grandfather. He was happiest at home spending time with family and friends or watching Westerns. Terry won’t soon be forgotten by all those he leaves behind to cherish his memory.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Laonna Kay Davis; mother Clara Nell Davis; two children Jason Clint Davis and wife Rachel and Kelley Thompson; four grandchildren Adyson Davis, Brock Davis, Case Davis and Ryan Thompson; sister Barbara Gail Mullinix as well as many other loving family and friends.

Preceding Terry in death are his father Obie Keith Davis and sister Angie McWhorter.
