Teresa Jo Kennimer

GILMER – Funeral service for Teresa Jo Kennimer, 65, of Gilmer will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the Barbwire Halo Cowboy Church in Upshur County with Bro. Donny Chamberlain officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Kennimer passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at a Longview hospital.

Mrs. Kennimer was born on June 5, 1951, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to Tom and Alma Jo Foster Swanner. She worked as an office manager for Gilmer Pottery, Pritchett Water Supply and Triumph Door and Hardware and was a member of Barbwire Halo Cowboy Church.

She is survived by her son, B.J. Kennimer and wife, Bonnie of Houston; daughters, Shannon Michelle Kennimer and Tami Jolette Gray and husband, Johnathan; sister, Shawn Geers of Diana; and one grandchild, Hannah Wood of Gilmer.

Mrs. Kennimer is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kennimer (died 2013) and parents, Tom and Alma Jo Swanner.

Pallbearers will be Perry Plunkett, Bill DeVaul, Daniel Holeman, Joey Reese, Tim Williams, and Jo Foster.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
