DIANA: Services for Syble Lollar McIntosh, 85, of Diana will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Smyrna United Methodist Church in Harrison County, with Reverend Wade Skinner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Smyrna Cemetery. She passed away on September 7, 2016. Syble was born April 27, 1931 in Diana, Texas to George Lollar and Addie Bell Knuckles Lollar. She married Buford Neil McIntosh on October 2, 1948. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Smyrna United Methodist Church. To us she was Mama, Granny, Sis and Aunt Syble. She was the matriarch of our little family and she was the epitome of love. She lived her life like Jesus wanted all of us to live. She loved everyone, and loved them genuinely. She has often been described as the sweetest lady in the world. She was. There wasnt anything she wouldnt do for you. She exuded kindness. I dont believe she has ever spoken ill of anyone in her life. Even in the last few years of her life, when her body and mind were failing, her sweet, kind spirit never left her. She loved to cook and was known for her delicious homemade biscuits, her pies, her chicken and dressing, her sweet tea and many other dishes. She loved her family so much and would do anything for them. There are so many wonderful memories that she leaves with us. She lived a simple, yet fulfilling life. When she lost her husband, her Duck, she lost a part of her heart. She was never truly the same after his passing in 2001. As a family, it gives us peace knowing that they are together once again. Now, a part of our hearts are missing too. You fought the good fight and although we miss you, we know we will see you again. We love you. Syble is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother J.W. Lollar She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Brenda McIntosh, grandchildren: Traci Mize (Keenan), Brian McIntosh (Holley) and Christopher McIntosh (Stephanie), great-grandchildren: Nathan Mize, Lauren Mize, Brianna McIntosh, Jayden McIntosh, Everett McIntosh, Dawson McIntosh, and Emma McIntosh, sister: Georgia Faye Cargil, brother: Joe Lollar, sisters-in-law: Mozelle Ormes and Faye Ormes and numerous nieces and nephews.
