Susan Taylor Lee

Susan Taylor Lee was born on June 10, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to William and Lenora Bellamy Taylor and passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Longview, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Catherine Briggs; and granddaughter, Kaytlin Poe.
Susan is survived by daughter, Michelle Burks; step daughter, Gina Angelsberg; step son, Josh Vetrano; brother, Bill Taylor and wife Penny; niece Allison Taylor Logan; nephew, Paul Taylor and wife, Holly; and grandson, Kaydon Poe.
Susan was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gilmer. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Friends of The Upshur County Library. She was a teacher for many years, teaching at Texas High School and Gilmer Jr. High.
Funeral service for Susan will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Chapel of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Rev. Matthew Smith officiating, interment to follow at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Lee’s service will be Kaydon Poe, Bill Taylor, Paul Taylor, and Chris Burks.
