Steven Thomas Langford

A memorial service for Steven Thomas Langford, 59, of Gilmer, will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2 P.M. in the chapel at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M at the Langford residence.
Steve passed away on Sunday, May 4th at his home in Upshur County, Texas. He was born July 14, 1954 in Gilmer, Texas to Hugh W. Langford and Myrtie J. Senn Langford. Steve was retired management with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, now ATT.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart, wife of 38 years, Kathy; two sons, Seth Langford and wife, Rachel of Frisco and john Langford and fiance, Tracy Carter of Longview; his mother, Myrtie J. Langford of Gilmer; one sister, Cynthia Chandler and brother-in-law, Gary Don Chandler of Quitman; two beloved grandchildren, Riley Ann and William Thomas Langford of Frisco; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Hugh W. Langford.
