Memorial services for Stephen Douglas Stracener, 58, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00P.M., on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with David Jackson officiating. Mr. Stracener passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was born on July 20, 1958 in Tyler, Texas to Graydon Douglas Stracener and Wanda Rose Harrison Stracener. He was a self-employed carpenter and was married to Annette Stracener. Mr. Stracener is survived by his loving wife, Annette Stracener; mother, Wanda Stracener; brother, Tommy Stracener and wife, Lana; sisters, June Johnson and husband, Larry, Teresa Caldwell; daughters, Gina Metz and husband, Frank, Misty Sprouse and husband, Dennis, Candice Godwin, Nikki Stracener; son, Mike Godwin; granddaughters, Kennady Langston, Karter Langston, MaKenna Sprouse, Chastity Godwin, Chloe Bonnette, Breanna Trammell, KateLynn Trammell, Jalene Stracener, Chloe Monts; grandsons, Koleman Langston, Keegan Sprouse, and Ryder Gibson. He is preceded in death by his father, Graydon Douglas Stracener and grandsons, Fisher Dwain Bonnette and Cason Douglas Bonnette. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
