Steve Wallace Doerfler

Funeral service for Steve Wallace Doerfler, 79, of Gilmer, Texas, will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer Texas with a visitation an hour prior. Steve was born in Hugo, Oklahoma, he was the oldest of 17 children.

Mr. Doerfler passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Tarrant County. Steve was a wonderful husband and loving father. He is survived by his sons; Stephen Doerfler of Arlington, Texas, Michael Doerfler of Zachery, Louisiana, Andrew Doerfler of Watson, Louisiana, Branden Doerfler of Cypress, and his stepson Bryan Anthony DeLuca of Dallas. He is survived by his grandsons; Stephen Doerfler II of Arlington, Texas, Alexander Doerfler of Arlington, Texas, Nicholas Doerfler of Arlington, Texas, Joseph Doerfler of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Devin Doerfler of Watson, Devin Doerfler of Watson, Louisiana, Cheyenne Meche of Watson, Louisiana, Aleah New of Watson, Louisiana, Kaliey Doerfler of Cypress.
