Stephanie Charlene Shannon

GILMER – Memorial services for Mrs. Stephanie Charlene Shannon, 50, of Gilmer, Texas will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Gilmer Missionary Baptist Church from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Finn officiating. An additional memorial service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Cross Church of Seguin, 814 N. Bauer Street, Seguin, Texas at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Price officiating.

Mrs. Shannon passed away on June 5, 2017 and was born on October 3, 1966 in Dallas, Texas to Sandra Haywood Harborth. She married Timothy James Shannon on November 27, 1992 in Seguin, Texas. Mrs. Shannon worked in the food industry as a caterer for many years. She enjoyed cooking and loved animals but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Sandi Harborth of Seguin, Texas; husband, Tim Shannon of Gilmer; son, Tim “T.J.” Shannon, Jr. and his wife, Kayla of Gilmer; daughters, Rebecca Brietzke and Casey Shannon of Seguin; sisters, Tonya Boyle and her husband Dane of New Braunfels and brother, Richard Wayne Watkins; step siblings, Gina Davis, Jennifer Davis and Joel Davis of East Texas; niece, Ali Harless, nephew, Justin Harless and Carroll, Emily and Norman Ward, and their children, who she considered family and also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Minnie Phillips and her paternal grandparents; Eddie and Hilda Harborth; godparents, Morris and Dora Lee Ward.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
