Funeral services for Stacey Gene Tucker, 59, of Winona, will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 18, 2019, at the Hoover Cemetery in Big Sandy. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Tucker passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, surrounded by family at his home in Winona.
Stacey was born on September 10, 1960 in Haskell, Texas to Andrew Gene Tucker and Nelda Gay Wilson Tucker. Stacey worked in the Oil Industry all over the world before illness forced his retirement in 2015. He was a football fan and knew everything about every college and pro team. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. Stacey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at the house or outdoors. His family was the most important part of his life; he took great pride in being a devoted father and loving Poppa. He was active with many hobbies among those being hunting, fishing and playing golf. Stacey will be remembered for being quick witted and honest along with his daily trips to Dairy Queen for an ice cream. He will not soon be forgotten by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind.
Stacey is survived by his wife Terri Tucker of Winona; mother Gay Tucker; daughters Sarah Tucker of Winona, Kristina Johnson and husband Dathan of Hawkins and Tricia Pair and husband Jason of Hawkins; sister Dana Tucker of Canton; brother Paul Tucker of Big Sandy; 13 grandchildren; best friend Marcus Evans of Bay Springs, Mississippi as well as many other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Andrew Gene Tucker, a sister Dawn Stribling and son Mark Wade Eitson, II.
Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Stribling, Andrew Pharr, Randy Pruitt, Jason Pair, Dathan Johnson and Stephen Lucas.
