Services for Socorro Mendoza Castillo, 60, of Longview, will be held at a later date. With his wishes, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on November 12, 1951, in Mexico, he died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was a retired employee for the City of Kilgore. He is survived by his mother, Maria Mendoza of Mexico; his companion of 25 years, Janie White of Longview; 6 brothers; 4 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. No visitation is scheduled.
