Sibyl Ellison Brannon Gilmer -- Services for Sibyl Ellison Brannon, 84, of Dallas and formerly of Gilmer, will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 10 A.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel with Larry W. Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Born on September 17, 1931, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Joseph Lee and Claudia Gladys Stewart Ellison, she died on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Brannon of Dallas; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Brannon, Daniel Brannon, and Andrew Brannon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James 'Jim' Brannon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home.
