Shone Thomas Griffith

Shone Thomas Griffith, 50  of  Diana, Texas passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.  Shone battled cancer for three years.  He was born November 2, 1972 to  Franklin Leon Griffith and Dollie Janette Manes Griffith in Dallas, Texas.  

Shone attended New Diana High School and was in the band where he enjoyed  marching and loved competing in UIL state competitions.  Shone loved all types of music and self- taught himself how to play the guitar.  He enjoyed playing the guitar for family and friends.

Shone worked as a security guard for Walmart until his illness disabled him. He had great passion for mechanical work on cars and motorcycles. Shone had multiple skills in carpentry, plumbing, welding, and much more.  

Shone was very proud of his children, Aaron and Logan, that he raised to be compassionate strong men.  Shone was proceeded in death by his father, Leon Franklin Griffith. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Janette Griffith, his wife Angela Griffith,  sons; Aaron Griffith (Kaytlynn) and Logan Griffith                (Mackenzie); his  brothers; Duane Griffith (Stacey) and Sonny Griffith (Michele), grandchildren; Gage Griffith and Ian Griffith. He has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles left to cherish his memory.  

Graveside service will be held at Ashland Cemetery on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Diana, Texas.
