Shirley Lee Mauldin

Shirley Lee Mauldin Gladewater -- Graveside services for Shirley Lee Mauldin, 80, of Gladewater, will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Hoover Cemetery in Big Sandy, with Reverend Bailey Harris officiating. Born on August 7, 1931, in Houston, Texas, she entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was a graduate of Beaumont High School, and she received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Lamar University. For many years she was employed in the land title and abstract industry in the Longview area. She was a member of the Gladewater First Baptist Church since 1971. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Eva Mauldin of Gladewater; Matthew and Lori Mauldin of Dallas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Mauldin of Portland, Oregon; Susan and Carl Woods of Longview; and Lisa and Keith Brooks of Gladewater; and 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, James Thomas Weaver; her mother, Tina Loffie DeLacie; and her husband, Alvin "Don" Mauldin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
