Shirley Jones Pate

Graveside services for Shirley Jones Pate, 77, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21 2013, at Ray Cemetery in Wood County with Pastor Mike Morrow officiating. Interment will be in the Ray Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Pate passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 in a Tyler hospital. Mrs. Pate was born January 14, 1936 in Jennings, TX, to Otto and Hazel Dockery Jones. She had lived in Hawkins for the last eight years, was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jan Pate of Tyler; daughters and sons-in-laws, Sheila and Kip Kelley of El Dorado, AR, Theresa and Garry Pruitt of Hawkins, and Angie and Dexter Bullington of Whitehouse; brother, Charles Jones of Longview; sisters, Bonnie Frazier of Paris, Wanda Archer of Paris and Mary Lollar of Paris; grandchildren, Wesley Pate, Chaes Pate, Wade Pate, Chris Kelley, Colleen McQuistion, Carrie Osbon, Rachel Butterfras, Briana Stokes, Kevin Bullington and Spencer Bullington; great-grandchildren, Caylin, Cameran, Collin, Harper, Faith, Sloan, Catherine and Peyton. Pallbearers will be Wesley Pate, Chaes Pate, Wade Pate, Spencer Bullington, Kevin Bullington, Robert Stokes, Josh Butterfras, Matt Osborn and Tripp McQuistion. No formal visitation is scheduled.
