Shirley Jean Porter

Services for Shirley Jean Porter, 79, of Longview will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Reverend Wayne Norvell officiating. Interment will follow services at Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Porter passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Longview.

Mrs. Porter was born July 29, 1937 in Waco, Texas to the late Newman Laverne Willis and Mamie Lee Palmer Willis. Shirley enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Shirley will be truly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.

Shirley is survived by her children John Hutto and wife Karen of Longview, Terry Hutto of Longview, David Hutto of Longview, Sandra Johnson and husband Donnie of Streetman and Donna Hutto and significant other Tracy Freeman of Longview; two sisters Sarah Shelton of Vivian, LA and Laverne Wentworth of Shreveport, LA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronnie Porter; son Donald Hutto; two granddaughters Leslie Hutto and Jennifer Johnson and two grandsons Robert Tyler and Joshua Robinson.
