Sherri Denise Lamb

Memorial service for Mrs. Sherri Denise Lamb, 53, of Gilmer, TX will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Gilmer Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Bethard officiating, the family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Lamb passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in Tyler.

Sherri was born May 26, 1966, in Dallas, TX to James and Irma (Via) Holley. She was a co-owner of T&S Auto where she was the book keeper. Sherri loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed owning her own firework stand, and she was a faithful member of Gilmer Missionary Baptist Church.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Tommy Lamb of Gilmer; daughters, Amanda Wells of Gilmer, Trina Smith of Gilmer, Meloney Holley of Longview, Lisa Miller of Louisiana; brothers, James Holley of Grands Saline, William Holley of Nevada, TX, William Oxley III of Plano; sister, Teresa Springer of Louisiana; grandchildren, Amber and Breylon Wells, Richard and Nathan Smith, Zoey Curran, and Eli and Deandre Holley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; both maternal and paternal grandparents; and one grandchild.
