Shawna Marie Scott

Services for Shawna Marie Scott, of Gilmer, will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 20, 2020, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer, with Bishop Peter Sullivan Conducting. Interment will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Shawna passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020.
Shawna Scott was born April 13, 2016, in Longview, Texas, to Neal and Erin Scott. She was a loving daughter, sibling, and granddaughter. She is with her Heavenly Father now, and will be truly missed on earth.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Shawn Scott; great grandparents, Bob Hatfield, Neal Wright, Francis Hatfield, Gilbert and Mary Scott; and an aunt, Patricia Peden.
Shawna is survived by her parents, Neal and Erin Scott; siblings, Paige Johnson, Adam Scott, Billy Scott and Jayden Scott; grandparents, Amelia “Millie” Scott, Janet Johnson, Ted Peden; great grandparents, Nelda Wright and Patty Dukes; aunts and uncles, Chrystal and Justin Erickson, Stormy Kay Scott, Andrea Johnson, Brandon Peden; numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
