Ryan Eric Heard

Ryan Eric Heard, 34, went to his heavenly home on Friday, November 29, 2019. He was born January 26, 1985, in Gladewater, TX and was a life-long area resident. He was a 2003 graduate of Union Grove High School and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He worked as a welder in the Longview area. He had a kind and compassionate spirit and a willingness to help anyone.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kaylee Heard of Overton; his parents, Amy and Jerry Allen; brother, Joshua and his wife, Brittney; sister, Abigail and husband, Preston Kennedy; nieces and nephews, Ashlyn Heard, Jacob Diaz, Olivia Diaz, and Jeremy Kennedy; grandmother, Eudean Heard, all of Gilmer and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his nephew, Carter Heard; grandfather, Max F. Heard; and great grandparents, Howard and Dorothy Ferguson.
Funeral service for Ryan Heard will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Bro. Rick Martin and Josh Heard officiating, interment to follow at West Mountain Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Heard, Farrell Heard, Jeremy Laastad, Jason Laastad, Dallas Mosley, and Preston Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers are Ethen Heard and Dalton Wilcox.
