Russell Elwood Hammerbacher

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Mr. Russell Elwood Hammerbacher, 50, of Gilmer, Texas who passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was born on February 24, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland to Russell Hammerbacher, Sr. and Marilyn Kridenoff. Mr. Hammerbacher was a supervisor for a metal fabrication shop and was married to Beth Corrine Skipper.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Skipper of Gilmer; parents, Russell Hammerbacher, Sr. and Marilyn Kridenoff; sons, Eric Hammerbacher of Dundalk, Maryland and Lucas Hammerbacher of Georgetown, Delaware; step daughters, Denise Greenback of Dundalk, Maryland, Angela Madding, Brittany Taylor and Tabetha Hampton, all of Gilmer; sister, Christine Hammerbacher of Hickory Court, West Virginia and seven grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
